| | - I am so thankful for the friends I have. They are such extraordinary people.
- I am thankful for the morning coffee my Dearest makes just for me everyday. It is soooo yummy and a wonderful way to wake up.
- I am grateful for the small, but important shift in my thoughts that I anticipate will lead to a bigger one.
- I am thankful for bridges rebuilt.
- I am grateful for a little bit of weather to remind me it really is February.
- I am thankful for the sweet lady who answered the phone when I called a business yesterday.
- I am grateful for my six-year-old's rainbow pictures. (He loves them as much as I do.) Right now, my desk is blessed with a picture of a rainbow over a rainbow person with the words, "To Mom & Dad". The ampersand looks like a heart with a tail.
- I am thankful for Friday. I love Fridays. I get to spend the morning with people I like, and the evening with my Dear Ones. We watch movies together and have popcorn.
- I am grateful for my little space heater and the softest shoulder blanket in the whole wide world.
- I am thankful for Kevin Smith's college talks. He has made me laugh when nothing else could.
- I am grateful to be back behind the drum set. And now that my Sweetie has his guitar, we can play together. Makes it a hundred and eleven times more fun!
- I am thankful for upcoming plans to spend some quality (and fun!) time with my mom.
- I am grateful for contrast that is helping me to be become all that I am.
- I am thankful for a set a novels that has kept me entertained and thinking in a different way. (Earth's Children)
- I am grateful for a supportive husband. Everyday, we seem to get a little closer.

Awe it makes me so happy to see that you're writing these!! Also warms my heart to hear the way you speak of your husband. Gives me hope.
I love #13...and am incredibly jealous of #11. Can we say...sexy! That's definitely on my 'life list'...learning how to play the drums.
Regarding your comment: Interesting you picked up on the usage of the word 'never' there. I struggled choosing that word, but I understand that in this case it fits. At least in the present moment...but hey, I'd love to be proven wrong in the future. :) I just know there's a tremendous amount of pain, anger, and disgust to be processed on both ends that very well could take more than a lifetime.
BUT...to end on a happier note, I think we should make it official. Cosmic twins. I'm in. :)
